Queen B Athletics was formed by Bríd Ryan, a sports addict who spent most of her life in a swimming pool, on a horse or, her first love – ploughing through rivers and lakes in rowing boats. Despite her fiercely competitive streak Bríd always wanted to look feminine no matter how hard she was training and dreamt of creating a collection of sport specific kit for competitive female athletes that incorporated functionality, style and colour.

In January 2012, Brid along with fellow company director Aedin Corbyn, formed Queen B Athletics with the vision to create sports specific kit that acknowledges female athletes as fierce competitors. Winning never looked so good.

Queen B Athletics is not just about clothes however. It is about the women who dedicate their lives to sport and paying attention to their needs. Our goal is to create clothes that female athletes really want and have always dreamt of. We work with groups of competitive and international athletes who wear test each and every item and give their honest feedback. Our models are also athletes who participate in the sport of the kit they wear. We feel this is really important to show the clothes in a realistic way that our customers can relate to and promote a positive, athletic aesthetic. We also name our clothes after women who inspire us too so keep an eye out, our next collection might include your name!

The first collection for Queen B Athletics consists of rowing one-pieces and leggings. We are developing the brand every day and always welcome feedback and ideas for future collections. What have you always wanted for your sports kit? Let us know!

Cancelling your order

If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you received you order.

You must notify us in writing of your wish to cancel the contract for your entire order under the regulations any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you received you order. Email us at info@queenbathletics.com

We recommend that you record the delivery as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them. Always keep a proof of sending receipt – it avoids any disputes if things go missing.

Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment under the Distance Selling Regulations.

All items must be returned unused, in their original condition and from the country that the order was delivered to.

We will refund the full value of your order, including postal costs, within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation. If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the regulations if you give us formal written notice of cancellation any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you received you order, as described above.

Making a return is easy. Send us an email telling us what you are returning and why. Pop it into the enclosed envelope with the returns note and we will credit the card/payment method you used to buy from us. Simple.

Exchange

There is no charge to exchange items for a different size, however all exchanges are based on stock availability. Shipping is also free on the replacement item.

Queen B Policy

Faulty Goods

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you would like to exchange a faulty item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be replaced.

Colours

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our Queen B Athletics website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Permission to buy

We assume that if you are under 16 that you have the full permission of the credit/debit card holder to purchase from our site. We accept no responsibility for orders placed without the bill payers permission and any refunds/returns will be made at Queen B Athletics discretion.

We have taken all the steps possible to ensure that shopping with Queen B Athletics is as secure as possible. How do I know which size to buy?

All our products have a sizing guide on the website that you can have a look at. We recommend that you measure yourself, or have a friend to help, keeping the tape flat and not too tight. For hip measurements take the largest measurement around your hip, we have found this can often be below the hip bone and around your bottom. Our clothing is made using stretch materials so if you are falling between two sizes, we would suggest you take the smaller size.
What happens if it doesn’t fit?

Send it back to us. Provided we have the right size in stock we will replace it asap. Have a look at our returns policy and our terms and conditions for more details.
The website is asking me for a postcode but I don’t have one, what do I do?

This is mainly an issue for our Irish customers. Ireland is due to get postcodes within the next two years. For any country, just type on NA if it is not applicable to you and continue with your purchase. If you encounter any further problems please contact us at – info@queenbathletics.com

Do you sell gift vouchers?

No, not at the moment. However we do think our products make very cool gifts…may we suggest a subtle “sooooo, what size jeans do you take?” approach.

Do you do a catalogue?

No, we don’t have one at the moment, we may in the future. You can find out about upcoming products by signing up to our email list and be the first to know when new collections are hitting the website.

Are you going to send me hundreds of emails if I sign up?

Absolutely not, we only email when we have something to say. New designs, new collections, your chance to vote for new products or when we are on the hunt for models/product testers (we like to use real athletes for our testing and our models, we want our clothes to be worn by the body types we designed them for). You can cancel your subscription to our email list any time you want, we promise not to take offence!

Do you sell your products on any other websites?

The only place you can buy our stuff is from us. If it isn’t sold on our website it isn’t Queen B Athletics.
